Pex Repiping Services
We know that repiping is a huge undertaking for your home. When you are making the investment to completely change the plumbing in your home, you want to make sure every dollar counts. This is why we offer Pex repiping.
PEX piping is short for cross-linked polyethelene. This is a form of highly durable plastic that is tougher than PVC and Copper while at the same time being much easier to maneuver. When you repipe your house with Pex piping you get a huge advantage over popper, it will save you money, time, and longevity.
The Benefits of Pex Repiping
Saves Money – Across the board, PEX piping is much cheaper than Copper. On average it is at least half as expensive as copper piping, that includes the special tools required to fasten the devices properly. When you are doing a mid-large scale repiping job, the pex will pay for itself every inch of the way.
Saves Time – PEX tubing is able to be easily rolled and moved around which means it is much easier to install than copper. When you are fastening and securing PEX, it’s not unlike working with a highly durable water hose. There is a special tool necessary for fittings installation but even with the specialized tool it’s much faster than soldering copper to it’s places.
Lasts Longer – Copper corrodes over time, odds are that you’re reading this because you’re beginning to see discoloration in your water and might need new pipes soon. With PEX however, they do not corrode with additional acidity unlike their copper counter part.
